Bank Holiday Sunday 28th May 2006
Mucha Marcha in conjunction with Peace Not War @ Cargo Club
83 Rivington St, Shoreditch EC2A
6pm – Midnight : £5
When you’ve got a Monday buffer zone to recover, you can sack in the Sunday roasts and visits to granny and come down to Mucha Marcha for some Bank Holiday skanking. This is a night for folks who love good music of all kinds – people whose iPods are populated with everything from Al Green to Elephant Man, to Arctic Monkeys to Jay Z.
Providing the soundtrack to your musical education are:
- the mighty Beni G (Mixologists) and Hermit on the decks
- Mr Hudson and the Library (live band)
- The Pistachios (live band)
- Section Sound
- James P
- DJs Uncle Willy and Monty (gmbaby)
Meanwhile your visual palates are also kept wet by the talent of London’s top graffiti artists Crymein and Snug 1 in a ‘paint clash’. The pieces will be auctioned when they’re finished – so any budding Saatchi’s come down and bring some shrapnel.
Now we have you salivating come and enjoy the finest Cargo Barbeque available on the night.
