Known as “guardians of the river” the people of Kingston Upon Thames live a dangerous and secluded life in their part of the wider London jungle. Suitable for ages 16 + and all fitness levels. This event is hosted by experienced survival artist Bryony Henderson who has hosted similar challenges in Rome, Rotterdam, Devon and other boroughs in London. Her work is influenced from her time spent with tribes in East Africa, 9 years of directing durational performance and working 9-5. She says “Survival Challenge has been my whole world for the last four years and it’s the most important thing in my life right now. It’s a series of events and workshops about people, places, time and culture. I hope is it also entertaining, because I want people to get involved and enjoy, especially people who wouldn’t normally get involved in this kind of thing, I also hope we can communicate something important to the world”
